hi kari! you can most certainly use regular lemons. I would almost make a little bit of a simple syrup to add a drizzle to the lemon juice to cut some of that mouth puckering tartness. or you can add a bit more elderflower soda to the drink. but play around and have fun- if you are inspired by another citrus at the market you use that. but whatever it is, it needs to be a delicate flavor.

Hi Whitney! Found this via Joy of Baking, and I'm just wondering what you think about using regular lemon juice. It's hard to find meyer lemons where I am. Is there a good way for me to substitute regular, tart lemons?

Prairie Organic Vodka is everywhere I look! I was planning on featuring it in my blog this week... glad to know you give it the stamp of approval.

And thanks for the recipes - I'm drooling on my desk.

Thanks Marika! Yes, the vodka is great. I actually found it (on sale!) at Ralph's- one of our big chain groceries out here. So, I get the feeling that is fairly available and well distributed.
